Paragon Anti-Vandal Shelter
Our best selling shelter is our anti-vandal passenger waiting shelter; this shelter successfully designs out the opportunities for crime and has special features developed to combat vandalism.
Macemain + Amstad have designed a passenger waiting shelter that has been installed throughout Britain’s transport network, road rail air and sea.
The Paragon Anti-Vandal shelter is made from stainless steel with any polyester powder coated elements beyond the reach of the passenger.
Smaller glass panels are specially rebated on all edges with rubber-cushioned fixings. Where necessary embossed solid stainless panels instead of glass can be utilised.
The new design was developed with Network Rail (formerly) known as Railtrack and installed at an unmanned railway station. The shelter stood up to the best efforts of vandals to the satisfaction of both Network Rail and the train operator.

Standard Modules
The Paragon Anti-Vandal shelter is based on a 1500mm modular construction in both length and width but is adaptable so that all site dimensions an be maximised. The roof overhangs the enclosure by 275mm to each side and 500mm each end.
