Macemain + Amstad produce a number of ranges of contemporary street furniture and modular architectural glazing systems. The architectural glazing systems can be used to form covered walkways, building links, shelters and canopies, from prestige entrance ways to public areas in constant use. Clients include architects, schools, leisure industry local authorities, train operators, airport authorities and commercial blue chip Companies.

Materials used and Capabilities

Our products are manufactured using mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium. The mild steel is galvanised, zinc plated and polyester powder coated in a wide range of colours, or thermal plastic coated which is also a polymer. The thermal plastic coating is environmentally friendly and forms an element of Macemain + Amstad’s commitment to using eco-friendly processes.

The aluminium is pre-treated in our in-house pre-treatment plant and polyester powder coated in the same wide range of colours. Click here for details regarding finishing processes.

Macemain + Amstad’s provide extremely low maintenance systems and longevity of product is assured.

Glazing is available in toughened glass or UV-stabilised polycarbonate. Trespa panels can also be fitted instead of stainless steel or galvanised kick panels, if specified.

Computer Numerically Controlled Laser Cutting, Punching, Robot welding, brake-press, tube bending and guillotine processes are operated within the finest tolerances.

We use precision manufacturing which safeguards high levels of quality and consistency. Environmentally-friendly manufacturing processes are used and are outlined in our environmental policy.

Our project experience and manufacturing capability is outlined in our corporate brochure.
